Flash Welding Machine

These machines are widely used for flash welding processes. Flash welding is typically a resistance welding process that creates fusion between two surfaces by applying pressure and heat attained from resistance to electric current between the two surfaces. The process of flashing is followed by expulsion of metal from the joint.

Working Principle
The welding process involves heating the metal on the surface joining each other resulting in an intense flashing arc. After a certain time, the two pieces are forced together and fusion takes place at the interface. The slight contact between the two flash welded part leads to the flow of current. Heat is generated by the flashing and is compressed in the area between two parts.
